Nicole began her career in the legal field working for the DuPage County Circuit Court Clerk’s office for 10 years. Initially her responsibilities included data-entry for all new and existing cases in both the Civil and Criminal divisions.
She was then one of the first employees to be cross-trained as a Customer Service Representative on both the phones and in person as a cashier. She then worked in the Civil Division as a Court Clerk for a multitude of judges until her final posting in the Criminal Division where she worked in Domestic Violence, Felony, Misdemeanor, Traffic, Bond Court and Orders of Protection courtrooms.
She worked with the Judges in this division as well as the Programmers, Sheriff’s Deputies and Court Advocates to restructure and simplify the process of filing Orders of Protection. During her time with DuPage she had been responsible for creating many different protocols and procedures for Domestic Violence filings and courtroom proceedings. She was in charge of training new staff as well as being a liaison between the Court Advocates, Prosecutors, Attorneys, Deputies and Judges.
Nicole’s pastimes include drawing, painting, reading and spending time with her dog.
