Nicole spent a decade working inside the DuPage County Circuit Court Clerk’s office — the same courthouse where Lafata Law’s cases are heard. She started in data entry, then moved through the Civil and Criminal Divisions, eventually working in Domestic Violence, Felony, Traffic, Bond Court, and Orders of Protection courtrooms. By the end of her tenure, she was creating procedures for courtroom operations and training new staff.
That firsthand knowledge of how the DuPage County court system works now supports Lafata Law’s clients. Nicole manages scheduling, coordinates filings, and is often the first voice you’ll hear when you call.
Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with her dog.
